Art in the SES studio is all about exploring our inner artist.

Kindergarten

In Kindergarten, we start with learning about the art elements of line, shape. and color. We do many exploratory projects during the year.

First and Second Grade

First and Second Grades continue to explore and learn these three elements, as we expand our understanding and start to learn about pattern, value, texture, and balance. We learn how to draw animals, faces, and still life, while practicing observational skills.

Third and Fourth Grade

In Third and Fourth Grade, we take these concepts a little deeper and add the art principles of space, movement, focal point, and form.
